Hello, lovelies. First off I hope your Monday morning is off to a good start. I want to thank you for making your way back to this slice of the internet every week. It really does mean a lot to me. When I rebranded I wanted to foster an authentic community where we could create genuine relationships. I really would like to hear from you more! I really do have an interest in being invested in your lives. I was thinking perhaps we could create a Facebook group where we could all join and get to know one another and share our pits and peaks of life. No article sharing, no Instagram likes for a like. A true genuine Facebook group for you all to connect together.
AROUND THE WEB:
Grace from The Stripe wrote an article: Staying Sane in an Overly Digital World and I think you should all take some time to read it! We all need a little digital detox which I have recommended countless times!
I did absolutely nothing of interest. Promise. I cleaned out my office and started to get it organized and decorated. This inspired Eddie to re-do his office as well and then the whole house became a disaster. Other than that we cooked meals, did adult chores, I did a little work yesterday and every night we cuddled up to watch a movie or two.
If you’re looking for some good Halloween movies to watch I suggest checking out these recommendations I made last year, I still stand behind them all being a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I would have to say Visions is my all time favorite and then Hush.
I’d love to hear some of your recommendations in the comments below.
If you haven’t already or if you have more to spare you can donate here to help raise funds for the victims in Las Vegas.
Also, if you would like to help the people affected by the hurricane in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands you can find ways to help here!
Wanting: I am so ready for Edward and I to own our own place and be able to create a space that inspires us. Last week I talked about the evolution of my style and why I am pulling for a loft setup over a house. If you haven’t already you can check out the article here.
Thinking: I was reading a study the other day that suggests that being outdoors can help peoples moods drastically. The more stressed your life is the greater release you feel when spending time outside. I started to think back to this summer when I was spending hours outside every day in the hammock just relaxing and staring at the sky and I have to be honest in saying those were the last times I truly felt peaceful. Winter is coming and the cold and snow will be taking over Minnesota so I won’t be getting outdoors too much. However, I next spring and summer I plan on getting outside 10x more than I did previously.
