Last year I got on a wellness kick and decided that as an insomniac who suffers from chronic pain I wanted to do some research on the benefits of different wellness techniques. It wasn’t long before I decided to try out essential oils. So I ordered my first diffuser and some essential oils and did a little research on different blends to help with issues ranging from sleep apnea to boosting my energy and rollers for anxiety.
I will have to admit that I fell in love with my sleep blend right away and even got Eddie into essential oil blends himself. He’s always begging me to make new blends for him to have at work and while he’s on the go. While essential oils don’t solve all my problems they certainly do add a benefit to my life but more on all that in another post. While I mostly use essential oils for health reasons I also like to use them to make the house smell festive.
My Two Favorite Essential Oil Blends for Fall
- 2 drops of Orange Essential Oil
- 1 drops of Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
- 1 drop of Clove Essential Oil
- 4 drops of Vanilla Essential Oil
This blend smells like walking into a starbucks. While I’m not a fan of coffee I can certainly appreciate the aroma. You can play around with this blend a lot and add an extra few drops of any scent that you want to fill the house. I also suggest adding nutmeg when winter rolls around. It will get you excited for Christmas. Two of My Favorite Essential Oil Blends for Fall! #wellness #essentialoilsClick To Tweet
Autumn Wellness Blend:
- 2 drops Orange Essential Oil
- 2 drops Cinnamon Essential Oil
- 2 drops Clove Essential Oil
- 2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
- 2 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
This scent reminds me of a pumpkin patch and corn maze. This scent is great when the weather begins to change and everyone in the household starts to come down with a cold. The eucalyptus really helps to open up the sinuses and the orange helps sooth your scratchy throat.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on essential oils and any blends that you enjoy!
